It's our first birthday!

On 1 August 2020, we announced on Instagram that Puff Puff Ministry was open for business. Since then we've achieved some incredible milestones we're proud of.

Running a business is a juggling act. It's easy to forget to take a break and celebrate your wins. So, we thought it would be fun to review our first year in business and share some highlights with you.

August 2020: We launched nationwide delivery within 10 days because we had people in South London, Scotland, Wales and further afield asking us to deliver puff puff to them 🚚 🇬🇧

September 2020: We received our first corporate order from an insurance company in the City of London.

October 2020: We got a shout out in Seasoned Buzzfeed, a podcast by BuzzFeed UK.

November 2020: We were featured in Grazia UK as one of the best black-owned businesses to shop from 🥳

December 2020: We made 110 boxes of puff puff in 24 hours and shipped them all over the country for Christmas 🎅 That was the highest number of boxes we'd ever made in a day.

January 2021: We had to keep up with the demand, so we added a second production day to our kitchen schedule. We officially started shipping orders twice a week 🚀

February 2021: Puff Puff Ministry was nominated for the Black British Business Awards! What an honour for our small business that was only 6 months old at the time. Thank you to whoever nominated us 💛

March 2021: We hit 4,500 followers on Instagram. It was incredible to have come this far from 6 followers when we launched. One of those 6 followers was our mum 😄

April 2021: We received our 1,000th order on our website in just 8 months.

May 2021: We partnered with Supermalt to give two people the chance to win a box of puff puff and 24 bottles of Supermalt. It was surreal to join forces with a brand that makes a product we grew up drinking.

June 2021: We hit 6,000 followers on Instagram. We still can't believe we've created such an amazing online community.

July 2021: We made a viral TikTok! 😂 Check it out here.

August 2021: We're celebrating our first year of business, still active, still happy, still making all your puff puff dreams come true.
